We retain a pure Scandinavian bloodline of Pheasants imported from Denmark. These are small, wild little birds which lay fewer eggs and start later in the season, making them commercially uneconomical for big orders.

We looked around and purchased some Chinese breeders from a quality UK game farm which has had a closed flock for decades. The Chinese are good egg producers and sporting flyers. The cross has kept the wildness without losing the manageability of them on a shoot day. Many of our customers are showing returns of 50% and more of birds released.

We can also source French ring necks, black necks and Polish from a reputable French game farm.

We do try to source our redleg partridge eggs from UK game farms but on the bigger weeks we have to import them.
